Kane Engineering has recently completed a major LV switchgear project for BT Northern Ireland at its Belfast Telephone House Data Centre.
The project comprised two 2MVA package sub-stations, each with Mains & Generator 3200A ACB incomers and up to six ACB (ABB E-Max drawout) outgoers on each panel, serving critical equipment within the data centre.
Kane Engineering also supplied and installed the Cast resin transformers, close-coupled to each of the form 4 Cubic panels.

Kane Engineering has recently completed a new main LV switchboard for Tayto Ltd - Northern Ireland's best known brand of potato crisps, and the now the owners of 'Golden Wonder' crisps in the UK. The new panel was required at their Tandragee site due to the upgrading of the electrical insfrastructure and the addition of a new 1500KVA transformer.
